    SAFARI STARTING FROM NAIROBI KENYA

    ARRIVAL

    Upon your arrival in Nairobi, your dedicated Travel InternationalSafaris Guide will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Your guide will be on hand during your entire stay and will travel with you to help you have the very best experience possible while in Kenya. You and your party will be transferred from the airport to your Hotel in Nairobi.

    Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands.  They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.

    1. Day 1 Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

      0700hrs pick up from your hotel in Nairobi and depart for Amboseli 215 kms from Nairobi. Amboseli (392 km2), known for its large elephant herds and views of immense breath-taking Mount Kilimanjaro, across the Tanzanian border. Observation Hill offers panoramas of plains and Swamps with a grand view of large herds of elephants, hippos, buffaloes and marvelous Egyptian pelicans.

      Arrive Amboseli at around 1200hrs in time for lunch, check in at the Camp, have lunch and relax until 1600hrs.

      Embark on an Afternoon game drive at the park in search of animals until sunset.

      1800hrs return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

    2. Day 2 Amboseli full day wilderness discovering

      Early breakfast at 0600hrs and embark on a full day in the park with packed lunch.

      Beginning with a morning game drive in search of the popular residents of Amboseli like the Elephants, Zebras, wildebeest, Giraffes, Hippos among others.

      At about 1300hrs have lunch in the wild while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Amboseli.

      Visit the Masai village (optional- at an extra cost)

      Embark on another game drive in search of animals with a spectacular view of the Mount Kilimanjaro until sunset. Return to Camp for dinner and overnight.

    3. DAY 3 Amboseli National Park- Tsavo West National Park

      Exit Amboseli National Park 0700hrs after early breakfast and depart for Tsavo West National Park (9,065square kms) with a varied Terrain. The northern part of the park being bush land with scattered native baobab trees. Offering a variety of wild animals such as lions, hyenas, hippo’s cheetahs’ elephants among others.

      Arrive at Tsavo West National Park at around 1230hrs and head to the camp.

      Check in at the Campsite in time for lunch. Relax after lunch until 1500hrs and embark on an afternoon game drive visiting the Chyulu Hills & Mzima Springs spotting hippos and crocodiles from underwater observation chamber.

      Return to the Campsite at 1730hrs for dinner and overnight.

    4. Day 4 Tsavo West National Park Full day

      Embark on a full day game drive at 0730hrs after breakfast with packed lunch boxes.

      Explore the park beginning with a morning game drive in search of numerous bird species such as red beaked hornbills, bateleur Eagles, white bellied go away bird among others. Explore the nature trails until sunset.

      Return to the Camping site at 17300hrs for dinner and overnight in the wild.

    5. DAY 5 Tsavo West National Park-Ngutuni Sanctuary

      0700hrs depart for Ngutuni Sanctuary after early breakfast

      Via the Tsavo East National Park famed for its large herds of red elephants and fine scenery. Check in at Ngutuni Safari Lodge, which overlooks a waterhole with sightings of elephants have lunch and embark on the afternoon game drive after a short rest.

      Visit the Galana River, which has plentiful crocodiles, hippos, kudus, waterbucks and dik-diks which are common along the river. We shall also visit the scenic Lugards Falls, Mudunda Rocks and the Aruba Dam as we view game.

      Return to the lodge at after sunset for dinner and overnight.

    6. DAY 6 Ngutuni Sanctuary-Watamu

      Check out Ngutuni Sanctuary with packed lunch boxes at 0700hrs after early breakfast and head to exiting Ngutuni Sanctuary with game en route with likely sightings of herds of buffaloes’ warthogs, cheeky baboons among others before departing for WATAMU.

      Stop over for Lunch en route

      Watamu is a small fishing village, Watamu literally means `sweet people` arriving at Mvuvi lodge (just steps from the splendid beach) in the afternoon.

      The crew will then depart for Nairobi after living you with fond of memories of the African bush adventure.

    7. DAY 7 Watamu Beach

      Day spent at leisure at Mvuvi Lodge enjoying a relaxation by the pool with a view of the beautiful sandy beaches.

      With lots of water sports activities such as kite surfing sport fishing among others.

    8. DAY 8 Watamu Beach

      Enjoy your breakfast at leisure before enjoying more activities offered by the lodge.

      i.e the mida creek located south of Malindi covering about 32 kms consisting of a muddy plain that is discovered with low tides and mangrove forests that attract a multitude of fauna.  It also offers numerous bird species like yellow billed storks; grey herons black head abound among others. Ride on a canoe at an extra cost and explore the creek before returning to the lodge in the afternoon.

    9. DAY 9 Watamu beach

      Breakfast at leisure

      Lunch at your own discretion either at mvuvi lodge or nearby restaurant.

      Pick up for your transfer to the airport for your afternoon flight or SGR TRAIN to Nairobi.
